Flying Flame
I’ve been playing with the idea of using this amazing location for several months now and also the opportunity to work with an extremely popular Art Nude model Ivory Flame, so I decided to combine the two and create a spectacular Gothic fantasy indulgence. I had been in contact with a “flying harness” company, Kirby’s AFX regarding a job, and I thought they would be perfect to create the look that I was after.
Much thanks also to the rest of the team

Asker Diving Animation
I’ve been playing around a lot recently with After Effects and for my talk in Copenhagen at the photo festival I thought I would put several techniques together to make a short animated clip from a still photo that I took earlier on in the year.
This animation combines 3d camera moves with layered photographic and text elements to create and virtual 3d scene, then wave ripples on the reflections a sun gradually rising on the horizon and of course a bird flying from the distance to the camera across the frame.
Enjoy.

Copenhagen Photo Festival
Well I’m off to Denmark next week to give a talk at the rather impressive Copenhagen Photo Festival It’s a huge event that spans over 10 days and celebrates photography both old and new. I’m the guest of Bilder Nordic where I run several Workshops in photography and retouching. Come along and say Hi!

BMA Test Day
Had a great test shoot with 3 models provided by BMA last week, working together with the make up artist Michelle Court and hair stylist Margarida Marinho I think we produced some great results. Testing is always great fun as it gives all involved an opportunity to try out looks and styles that our normal work might not always allow.
Thanks also to the models involved.
